Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

Protocol

Divine Nature has seen amazing results from clients affected by IBD who have adhered to the following protocols that help to support the intestinal membrane.

  • The absence of toxic habits, e.g. tobacco, coffee, drugs, alcohol, junk foods, carbonated beverages, etc.
  • All of these act as poisons to the body. The body in turn must spend energy ridding itself of these materials, depleting its energy reserves.
  • Eliminating refined carbohydrates and processed foods such as white flour and sugar.
  • Eating fiber rich foods, e.g. grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds without refined carbohydrates helps to get the nutrients you need for good health For these reasons we created and powders. Typically, individuals that have severe ulceration and inflammation avoid eating fruits and vegetables due to the pain caused during the digestive process. However, our powders are already in a broken down state, making for tolerable digestion and easier to implement during flare ups.
  • Yeast overgrowth.
  • Due to Candidiasis (yeast overgrowth) conditions which have been recognized as also being a key factor in chronic IBD conditions, we need to focus on the PH of the blood and digestive track. This is supported by balancing the blood and body with . This is a liquid that which you add 15 drops into an 8oz glass of water or beverage for a period of two weeks and then off for a week and again for two more weeks, rotating it until relief has been felt. True PH formula oxygenates the blood and thus creates an environment where pathogens cannot survive.
  • Probiotics
  • will replenish the intestinal tract with stabilized good bacteria called “Friendly Flora.” This makes up the mucosa lining throughout your entire digestive tract or gut lumen. Probiotic bacteria have been shown to counteract inflammatory processes by degrading antigenic materials within the gut, by reducing inflammatory materials from being secreted, by normalizing the gut flora, reducing pathogens and by improving the functions of the mucosa membrane. Probiotics also improve the body’s overall immune response in significant ways.
  • Intestinal Repair
  • Many times we have seen that after many years of antibiotics, anti-acids, stress, carbonated drinks, white flour, processed foods, and other toxic forms of foods the gut lumen or mucosa membrane has no way of slowing down the good floras or probiotics that are taken as treatment for IBD or Crohn’s. There needs to be a way for the good bacteria to adhere to the walls, grow and re-form the mucosa that will then protect the body again.

was designed to do just that. It has key ingredients like licorice root, beet root fiber, barberry root, milk thistle seed, slippery elm bark, wild yam root, ginger root, along with an amazing enzyme delivery system to fortify and form a base for the probiotic bacteria.
  • Enzymes
  • to help with digestion. Processed foods lack enzymes due to the cooking of the food (enzymes are destroyed at 118 degrees Fahrenheit). These enzyme deficient foods do not get processed adequately and are sent into your lower digestive tract and eventually into the bowel causing more irritation and discomfort.
  • Water
  • The human body is over 75% water. Water is used by the body for many purposes including assisting in elimination of toxins and waste.

These are all going to be extremely beneficial in getting the body back to homeostasis or balance. When this occurs the body can cure itself.
